Asphalt & Concrete Paving
Flexible and rigid pavement construction to SATCC or equivalent regional standards.
Heavy Civil Infrastructure: Roads, Bridges, and Earthworks at Scale
Reliable road and bridge infrastructure is the backbone of economic activity in Central and Southern Africa. Africa Progress delivers comprehensive road construction and rehabilitation services, from initial survey and geotechnical investigation through to final asphalt surfacing, line marking, and drainage installation. Our civil engineering team has hands-on experience in both rigid pavement (concrete) and flexible pavement (asphalt and compacted aggregate) construction, as well as gravel road rehabilitation for rural and industrial access corridors.
Our equipment fleet — comprising motor graders, compactors, asphalt pavers, excavators, and dump trucks — is maintained to manufacturer standards and capable of handling large earthmoving volumes in demanding environments. We have completed road rehabilitation work on National Route No. 1 and rigid-pavement internal access roads at the Lupoto industrial complex, demonstrating competence in both public infrastructure and private industrial site road works.
For bridge and culvert structures, our engineering team conducts hydraulic and structural design reviews before commencing fabrication and in-situ construction. We work with reinforced concrete, steel fabrication, and pre-cast components depending on span requirements and site accessibility, ensuring each crossing is built for long service life under heavy vehicle loads.
